THE EL PASO COMIC CON PRESS PASS HAS RULES
Your Press Pass allows complimentary access during all public hours. Your Press Pass does NOT allow early access or special access.
- Your Press Pass does NOT allow you to cut lines.
- Your Press Pass does NOT guarantee you seats.
- Your Press Pass does NOT guarantee you autographs or free autographs from guests.
Everyone attending El Paso Comic Con as Press MUST follow all El Paso Comic Con policies.
PRESS PASSES ARE FOR JOURNALISTS ONLY
Press Registration is open to journalists making regular editorial contributions only. Editorial Press includes Writers, Reporters, Reviewers, Producers, Photographers, and Cameramen who are attending specifically to cover El Paso Comic Con. Non-Editorial personnel at media companies such as Marketing and Sales staff do not qualify for Press Passes and will not be approved. Friends and family of Editorial Press also do not qualify for Press Registration.
Complimentary media credentials are extended as a courtesy. Attendees and featured guests are valued and we strive to provide an enjoyable experience for them. As such, all media representatives are expected to maintain a friendly environment for attendees, vendors, guests, and staff at all times. Violation of convention policies or press/media rules may result in revocation of your credentials.
ACTIVE OUTLETS ONLY
Press Passes will not be approved for dormant outlets or outlets created only with the intent of obtaining free admission. If you’re applying with a website that hasn’t been updated in six months, a blog that’s launching soon, or a YouTube channel with only two videos, you’re not likely to be approved. El Paso Comic Con checks every application that is submitted.
YOUR PRESS PASS IS YOURS
Press Passes are non-transferable. You may not loan or sell your Press Pass, and anyone conducting such behavior will have their Press Pass revoked and will be disqualified from Press Passes at future Fatman Events events.
APPLY ONCE PER ORGANIZATION
Please only have one member of your media outlet apply for badges – he or she can apply for your full team. This person should be your organization’s main contact, and they will be responsible for picking up all of your badges onsite.
YOUR PRESS PASS DOESN’T GUARANTEE INTERVIEWS
If you’d like to speak with an invited guest, please arrange this prior to the show after your Press Passes have been approved. Talent or guest Interview requests made at the show cannot be guaranteed at the event. All our guests have preapproved schedules and onsite requests will be very difficult to fulfill.
PRESS PASSES AREN’T MAILED
If approved for Press Passes, all your badges will be available for pickup in the check-in area in the Mount Franklin Lobby of the El Paso Convention Center. Press Badges are not mailed in advance.

- There will be NO on-site media registration
- All applications must be received at least 30 days prior to event date

- Team member, position, and examples of work for each team member listed on the application are required for approval
- Applying does not guarantee approval for a media credential
