Terms & Conditions

Event Location: El Paso Convention Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza, El Paso, TX 79901
By purchasing a ticket, badge, vendor space, or attending El Paso Comic Con (“EPCON,” “Event”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Admission & Badges
- A valid EPCON wristband must be worn around the wrist and visible at all times within Event areas.
- Wristbands are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-replaceable if lost or stolen.
- Each wristband admits one (1) person only.
- Altered, duplicated, or shared wristbands will be confiscated and may result in removal from the Event.
- EPCON reserves the right to deny entry or revoke access at any time for violation of policies.
2. Age & Supervision
- Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times.
- Guardians are fully responsible for the conduct and safety of minors under their care.
3. Conduct Policy
Attendees agree to behave respectfully and lawfully at all times. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior
- Physical altercations or threats
- Stalking or unwanted contact
- Disruption of panels, events, or exhibits
- Drug or alcohol intoxication causing disturbance
- Unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Non-consensual photography or recording
- Sleeping or camping inside Event venues
Violation may result in immediate removal without refund.
4. Weapons, Props & Cosplay Policy
- All prop weapons must comply with venue and security guidelines.
- Real firearms are strictly prohibited.
- Prop weapons must be clearly non-functional and may require inspection and peace-bonding.
- Projectile weapons (airsoft, Nerf, arrows, etc.) must be rendered non-operational.
- Metal props must be blunt and safe for public environments.
- EPCON and venue security reserve the right to refuse any prop deemed unsafe.
5. Photography & Recording
- Personal photography is allowed in most areas unless otherwise posted.
- No photography or video is allowed in restricted areas (including Celebrity Row or designated zones).
- Tripods, monopods, and professional cameras/lighting require press credentials.
- Attendees must respect others’ consent when photographing or recording.
6. Venue & Liability
- EPCON, its organizers, and the El Paso Convention Center are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
- Attendees assume all risks associated with participation in the Event.
- EPCON is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during attendance.
7. Tickets, Refunds, & Transfers
- All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by Event policy.
- Tickets may be transferable only if explicitly permitted by EPCON.
- EPCON reserves the right to cancel or modify programming without prior notice.
8. Vendor & Exhibitor Rules
- Vendors must comply with all load-in, setup, and operational rules provided in exhibitor agreements.
- Booth assignments, wristbands, and access privileges are issued at EPCON’s discretion.
- Unauthorized sales, redistribution, or subleasing of booth space is prohibited.
9. Media & Press
- Media badges are limited and subject to approval.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
- All EPCON rules apply equally to press attendees.
10. Accessibility & ADA Compliance
- EPCON is committed to accessibility and complies with ADA standards.
- Reasonable accommodations may be available upon request.
- Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law and venue rules.
11. Changes to Event
EPCON reserves the right to:
- Modify event programming, guests, hours, or layout
- Change policies at any time without prior notice
- Deny entry or remove any attendee for safety or policy violations
12. Acceptance of Terms
By entering EPCON premises or purchasing admission, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
