If you put together a great costume and have a competitive streak, consider entering the Annual El Paso Comic Con Costume Contest!

Please help us by doing your part in upholding a safe and welcoming environment for all cosplayers at El Paso Comic Con. Refer to Convention Policies & Codes of Conduct and Cosplay is Not Consent for more information.

Applications for the El Paso Comic Con Costume Contest will be taken onsite by SuperHeroes Unlimited in Booth XXX  There will be YOUTH, GROUPS, and ALL OTHERS categories.

This is a costume contest, therefore there will be no skits/performances.  The Costume Contest MC will ask the participants questions about their costumes.  Striking a pose or small movements that are associated with your character are permissible.  There will be no accompanying music due to ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC licensing.  Any attempts to circumvent these rules will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the convention center.

The YOUTH category will go on stage first.  This category will be judged immediately after the last YOUTH category entrant has crossed the stage.  We don’t want to keep the kiddos up past their bed-time.  Costumes will be judged by a panel of cosplayers.
